Women can come stay in the program from any stage of pregnancy to birth and beyond while receiving support in multiple areas, including education, employment, mental and physical health, parenting and spiritual support.

Case Manager
ROLE SUMMARY
The Case Manager/Maternity Care Coordinator enhances the residents’ quality of care by working to create a healthy environment. This position is vital in care coordination and empowering residents to gain the end goal of independence.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Required:
-
High School Diploma
-
Experience with educating patients and patient goal setting
Preferred:
-
Licened as Registered nurse or Bachelor’s Degree in Case Management/Nursing or case management certification.
-
3-5 years Maternity Nursing experience
-
3 to 5 years of care coordination experience and/or experience working maternity setting
-
Case Management Certification
-
Experience in a manage care information environment
POSITION TYPE
Hourly (10+ hours per week)
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Assist in coordinating maternity care, prenatal education initiatives, gynecological care coordination, addressing social determinants, linkage to resources, and hospital coordination
-
Manage cases, including goal setting and achievement, drug monitoring/medication tracking, CPS and court reports and social worker involvement of residents living in residential program.

Staff management including coaching, mentoring, and delegation of tasks

Attend all staff meetings and complete employee development courses throughout employment
-
Assist with new resident orientation and move in day

Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy, following all HIPAA policies.

Demonstrate organizational skills, including establishing priorities, organizing workload, goal setting, decision making, and meeting deadlines

Ability to take and follow instruction yet also work independently

House Manager
ROLE SUMMARY
The Housing Manager serves as an example and enhance the residents’ quality of care by developing relationships with the moms in the home and working to create a healthy environment. This position is vital in care coordination to empower residents to gain the end goal of independence. This position also ensures the physical residence is maintained and necessities are provided for communal living.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Preferred:

Experience working with residents in communal living situations, expectant mothers, or management
-
Current First Aid/CPR certification
POSITION TYPE
Hourly (20+ hours per week)
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of 1-2 Support Staff Members
-
Supervise support staff who will serve as respite, including scheduling, communication of house duties, problem solving, initial training, guidance, and support, etc.
Management of Hope House
-
Communicate with Case Manager and Social Worker when necessary
-
Delegation and enforcement of house rules and reporting non-compliance including chores, curfews, etc.
-
Processing of all donations brought to home
-
Ensure all House Rules, provided by Selah’s Center of Hope, are being followed and provide feedback for changes if necessary.

Ensure safety throughout the house including serious health issues, fire drills, reporting of abuse, onset of labor, etc.

Attend all staff meetings and complete employee development courses throughout employment
-
Assist with new resident orientation and move in day along with cleaning of rooms upon exit of program
-
Oversee volunteers and assist with onboarding (when applicable)
-
Assistance with monitoring of cameras and curfew checks
-
Ensuring cleanliness of living spaces
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Eligible to work in the United States and pass a level 2 background screening

Current First Aid/CPR certification
-
Maintain composure with people in emotional situations and de-escalate conflict

Maintain personal boundaries, and work closely with a variety of personalities
